  • Pre-Ride (Saturday morning)
    • Everyone to arrive at the parking lot of 150 Dexter Ct, Elgin, IL 60120 by 7am to check-in and turn in gear
    • We will be riding to 1207 West Gurler Road, Rochelle, IL 61068, for a total of 55 miles
    • Exceptions made for anyone taking the Metra from Union Station to Elgin, IL stop since that train does not arrive until 8:45am
    • Turn in all your camping gear to our transportation team. They will carefully load it into our trailer
      • you are limited to 5 square feet of gear
      • we recommend at a minimum a tent, sleeping bag, ear plugs, sandals, towel, bug spray, headlamp, fun games, change of clothes, swimming gear
    • Pre-ride MANDATORY meeting at 7:45am. We will discuss all the specifics of the ride including the navigation
  • Bicycle Ride (Saturday morning till afternoon)
    • Bicycle Ride begins at 8am (9am for Metra riders)
    • There will be a rest stop roughly every 20 miles with food, drinks, and a bathroom
    • Everyone will be given a queue sheet, which is a turn by turn direction sheet, but no map. We will provide a link so bring a smart phone if you want access to a map. We recommend that you cycle with others, and if you are coming solo it is the best way to meet people!
    • If you have any problems at all, please call the ride director who will assist you. If you feel like you cannot go on, we will pick you and your bike up. If possible, please drop at a rest stop for safety reasons
    • We HIGHLY recommend you bring an extra tube, a patch kit, and a pump, or at least ride with people who have one. We are not responsible for any flats or other bike problems, but we will do our best to help you
  • Post Ride (Saturday night)
    • Everyone must be off the road by 6pm (10 hours from start). We can pick you up if you are still out there
    • When you arrive at the campsite, you will turn in your bike for the remainder of the adventure in exchange for your camping gear
    • We have reserved a large portion of the campsite and you can set up anywhere you would like
    • Do you want to skydive?! We got you covered! Since we are camping at a jump zone, we have discounted jump rates for you
    • All the drinks you can drink and all the food you can eat will be provided! 
    • Enjoy the live band for 3.5 hours!
    • There is no end to the night, but please keep it down once the majority of people have gone to bed
  • The next morning (Sunday morning)
    • We will be providing breakfast from 7am to 9am
    • All tents and gear must be turned in by 8:45am
    • Buses back to the starting line will leave at 9am
    • There will be no stops along the way for a bathroom break, and you should be back to the start by 12pm at the very latest
